Mr. Levy is a 1984 graduate of The University of Maryland School of Law, with Honors; Notes and Comments Editor, Maryland Law Review. He has over 30 years of legal experience, representing individual and business clients in corporate and real estate transactions, forming new entities, contracts, commercial finance transactions, employment matters, wills and estate administration. Mr. Levy has served as President of the ROMG Chamber of Commerce and is involved with non-profit organizations and community affairs.
Mr. Mann obtained a J.D., with honors, from the University Of Maryland School Of Law in 1987, after being awarded a Ph.D. in Psychology from Cornell University in 1980. Mr. Mann has been a trial lawyer for the past twenty-seven years, concentrates in commercial litigation and family law, and has appeared in most circuit courts in the State of Maryland as well as the Federal courts. Mr. Mann also specializes in appeals, often in the area of family law, and recently has argued cases in Maryland’s appellate courts. Mr. Mann was selected as a Maryland Superlawyer for 2015.
Mr. Polashuk is a 1989 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top ten of his law school class. Mr. Polashuk passed the CPA exam in 1981. Mr. Polashuk practices in the area of Federal and State Tax Controversy, Tax Crimes, and Business Litigation and Planning. He has been recognized numerous times as a Maryland "Super Lawyer" in Baltimore Magazine and as a "Smart Lawyer" by Smart CEO Magazine. He is the chair of the Maryland Bar Association Tax Sections, Tax Controversy Study Group, a member of the Maryland State Bar Association Tax Council and is a former Chairman of the American Bar Association Tax Section's Taxpayer Bill of Rights Task Force, as well as a member of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs. Mr. Polashuk is a frequent lecturer on State and Federal Tax procedures.
Mr. Caplan has practiced law in the Baltimore area since 1981. A 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, and recipient of a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University, he represents many property management companies, real estate investors, small business, and individuals. Mr. Caplan maintains a general, civil practice focusing on landlord-tenant matters, property and business transactions, civil litigation, wills, and estates.
Mr. Hermann graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1979 and from The Dickinson School of Law (now part of Penn State) in 1982, where he was inducted into The Woolsack Society for outstanding academic achievement. Mr. Hermann then served for a year as Law Clerk to the Administrative Judge of the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Since then, he has been employed full time in private practice, primarily in the areas of family law, civil litigation, personal injury law, business law, estate planning, and estate administration. He is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland.
Mr. Schwartzberg obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2007, where he was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schwartzberg obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Mr. Schwartzberg joined LMCH&P in 2007 as an associate after serving as a law clerk in the Summer of 2006. His practice focuses primarily on Federal and State tax controversy matters wherein he represents individuals and businesses in audits, administrative procedures, and in court proceedings. His practice also includes real estate litigation and general business and other civil litigation matters. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association, Tax Section. Mr. Schwartzberg serves on the Tax Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
Mr. Marchica obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2014, where he graduated Cum Laude. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Marchica obtained an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business. Mr. Marchica joined LMCH&P in 2014 as an associate after serving as a Managing Student Attorney at the Maryland Law Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. His practice focuses primarily on Federal and State tax controversy matters wherein he represents individuals and businesses in audits, administrative procedures, and in court proceedings. During his third year at the University of Maryland School of Law, Mr. Marchica served as a student liaison to the Tax Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Marchica is currently an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Tax Section and is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
